Positioning units
We have built positioning units for a client in the US. These units are used to handle the flow of bulk materials from a PTA (plastic granules) factory. They are used to flexibly move this product flow from the factory to various loading bays. The positioning units are essentially skids that can be moved along a track on crane wheels and thus positioned correctly. The skids are moved by means of a chain drive. The entire system is designed to be explosion-proof in accordance with the following classification: ATEX Class II Div. 2 Group G T3. Scope of supply:
- 1 track structure, 18-metre relocation
- 2 positioning units
- 2 telescopic pipes, Ø250 mm, 304 stainless steel
- 2 control panels on flexible cables
