Developing a agitator We begin by translating your requirements into a technical design. In doing so, we take into account the application and the requirements specific to the project. Veenstra provides support in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke agitators. We work closely with your engineering department or project manager where necessary, enabling us to focus on developing a solution that integrates seamlessly with your process and organisation.
Engineering and implementation in a single process
Veenstra oversees the entire process, from design right through to handover of the steering system. We begin with the engineering phase and develop this into detailed drawings, P&IDs and electrical diagrams. We then manufacture the steering gear and carry out installation and commissioning on site. Naturally, we are happy to work alongside your own engineering department or project manager to ensure that all deadlines are met.
Gaining an understanding of the mixing process through simulation
To support the design, we use flow simulations with FloEFD-software. We use this to predict how the product will behave during mixing or dispersion in the tank. Based on these insights, we determine the mixing pattern, the required mixing time and the optimal configuration. In addition, we carry out strength calculations and FEM analyses on the models. This results in a safe and efficient agitator that has been validated in advance.
