The Modul loading bellows from Veenstra Technology
The Veenstra Modul® loading bellows is designed for a wide range of industries, including cement, petrochemicals, food, pharmaceutical manufacturing and many other sectors that handle bulk goods. By using a standard configuration, we are able to offer high-quality bellows at a competitive price. In addition, we specialise in bespoke solutions, for example for the controlled loading of powders, granules, pellets and grains. Our many years of experience, dating back to 1977, enable us to provide a suitable solution for every process.
How the loading bellows work
A loading bellows ensures that bulk goods are loaded into a container or vehicle in a controlled and dust-free manner, making it ideal for loading dust-sensitive materials. The product flow is centred at the top of the bellows and then distributed evenly via the bellows’ frame. Optional conical stainless steel cups help, amongst other things, to centre the goods and minimise dust formation. The loading bellows is suitable for ship loading, lorries with a manhole, open lorries and containers, making it versatile for use in a wide range of applications. Dust extraction can be managed via integrated filters or external extraction systems.
Types of drive units
Our loading bellows can be fitted with two types of drive units: type S and type F. Both types are available in ATEX and NON-ATEX versions.

Type S (Standard) Type S is suitable for situations where there is no integrated filter unit or where headroom is limited. This type allows for an external filter connection. |
Type F (Filter) Type F is fitted with an integrated top filter for dust-free loading. |
Hose options for the Modul loading bellows
The hoses for our loading bellows are available in various designs, lengths and materials. You can therefore choose from the following options:
- Single-walled or double-walled, with or without cups;
- Standard lengths up to 7 metres;
- Materials such as PVC, PU, neoprene and others, depending on the resistance requirements.
Chassis options
Depending on the loading requirements, we offer a range of chassis options:
- Open Cone for open containers;
- Sealing cone for bulk vehicles, to prevent product spillage into the surrounding area;
- Dust skirt for additional dust control, which can be fitted to both chassis and is also available in a removable version.
The sensors on the Modul load bellows
To monitor the charging process, we at Veenstra Technologies offer various types of sensors. All sensors are available in ATEX and NON-ATEX versions. The available sensors are:
- Rotary sensors;
- Vibrating sensors;
- Capacitive sensors;
- Sonar sensors;
- Pneumatic sensors;
- Laser sensors.
